# Writing your own Help Centre questions

Add questions and answers about your own community to the Help Centre that members read.

---

The Help Centre explains how the platform works. You can add questions and answers about your own community, such as opening times or local rules. Members see them in the [Help Centre](/help) , as questions from your community.

## Adding a question

1. Open Content in the admin menu and press Help FAQs.
2. Press Add FAQ.
3. Write the Question as a member would ask it. For example: "How do I earn time credits?"
4. Write the Answer members will see.
5. Enter a Category, such as "Joining" or "Events". If you leave it empty, it goes under "General".
6. Use Sort order to set its position. Lower numbers come first.
7. Choose whether it is Published or a Draft.
8. Press Create FAQ.

Questions are grouped by category in the Help Centre.

## Changing or hiding a question

Use the actions on a question to edit it, then press **Save changes** . Use its publish switch to hide it without deleting it. Press **Delete FAQ** to remove it for good.

## Good to know

- Your questions are shown exactly as written. They are not translated.
- Until you publish your own, members may see a few general questions provided with the platform.

Look at the questions members ask you most often. Those make the best Help Centre entries.
