# Creating an impact report

Show the social value of your community for funders and partners, and download it as CSV or PDF.

The **Impact Report** turns your community's activity into figures you can share with funders, partners and your board.

Open **Analytics & Reporting** in the admin menu and press **Impact Report** .

## Choosing the period

Set the **Report Period** with a **From Date** and a **To Date** . Press **Refresh** to update the figures.

## Setting the value of an hour

The social value is worked out from the hours exchanged and a value for each hour.

1. Press Configure.
2. Enter the Hour Value, the money value you give one hour of help in your area.
3. Fill in any other figures you have, such as your Total Investment.
4. Press Save Configuration.

The report can also work out a social return on investment. It needs your total investment and at least one outcome with a money value. Until then, it tells you it is not configured.

## Downloading

Press **Export CSV** for a spreadsheet file, or **Export PDF** for a document you can print or attach to an email.

Choose an hour value you can explain, for example a local living wage. Say in your report how you chose it.
