# Changing how a feature works

Use the Configure button on a feature to change its settings, such as holding new listings for approval.

Many features have their own settings. You reach them from the feature's card on the **Module Configuration** page.

1. Open Module Configuration.
2. Find the feature and press Configure on its card.
3. Change the settings in the window that opens.
4. Press Save Changes.

Some settings show a **Coming Soon** label. You cannot change those yet.

## Example: checking new listings first

On the **Listings** card, press **Configure** . Switch on **Require Moderation** so new listings must be approved before members see them. The **Auto-Approve Trusted Members** switch on the same card does not do anything yet.

## Settings on their own page

For some features, **Configure** opens a separate page instead of a window. For example, **Events** opens **Event settings** . You can also find it in the admin menu under **Community** , as **Event Settings** .

On **Event settings** you choose **Who can create Events** :

- All active members
- Brokers and administrators
- Administrators only

You can also switch on **Require Event approval** . Before you can save, write a short **Reason for change** under **Change control** at the bottom. Then press **Save Event settings** . The reason is kept in the page's **Configuration history** .
