# A simple daily routine for brokers

A short checklist to keep on top of the work without missing anything urgent.

---

A few minutes each day keeps members safe and stops work piling up. This is a suggested routine. Adapt it to your community.

1. Open the Broker Dashboard and read What needs you now.
2. Deal with safeguarding first. Check Safeguarding Alerts, then flagged and unreviewed items in Messages.
3. Check your notifications for coordinator help requests. Reply to each one.
4. Approve or reject exchanges waiting in Exchanges. Members cannot start until you do.
5. Approve new members waiting in Members.
6. Check Reports and the Content Queue.
7. Answer vetting review requests in Vetting confirmations.
8. Skim Recent Activity to see what other brokers have done.

## Weekly

- Look at User Monitoring. Decide whether each member still needs it, especially those in Expiring within 7 days.
- Look at the Never logged in and Onboarding incomplete tabs in Members. Offer help.
- Check Insurance for certificates that are Expiring Soon.

## Sharing the work

If several brokers share the work, agree who covers which days. Use member notes so everyone knows what has been done.
