# Getting or stopping the community newsletter

Choose whether you receive newsletters and community updates by email.

Your community may send a newsletter by email. You choose whether you get it.

## Start or stop the newsletter

1. Open Settings.
2. Choose the Notifications tab.
3. Find Marketing & Communications.
4. Switch Marketing Emails on or off.

When you switch it on, you are asked to confirm. Press **Yes, subscribe me** .

## Unsubscribe from an email

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Press it and you see **You're unsubscribed** . You do not need to sign in.

Stopping the newsletter does not stop important account emails, such as messages about your exchanges or your account security.

When you first join, you can also tick **Send me occasional updates and tips** on the sign-up form.
