# Managing, cancelling or archiving your event

See who is coming, message attendees, check people in, and cancel if plans change.

You manage your own events from the event page.

## Edit your event

Open your event and press **Edit** . Change the details and press **Update Event** .

## See who is coming and check people in

Press **Manage** . The management page has sections. You only see the ones you are allowed to use. The main ones are:

- People, to see and manage everyone who has replied
- Check-in, to scan check-in codes or find people by name on the day
- Messages to attendees, to send a message to attendees
- Team, to give other members a role, such as a co-organiser or check-in staff

## Cancel an event

1. Open your event and press Cancel Event.
2. Type the Reason for cancellation.
3. Confirm.

Everyone who replied is told the event is cancelled. For a repeating event, all future dates are cancelled too.

## Archive an event

Press **Archive** to take an event off the member list but keep its history. You can add a reason.

There is no way to delete an event from the member pages. Cancel or archive it instead.
