# Skills directory and endorsements

Browse the skills members share, add your own, and endorse other members.

The **Skills** page shows the skills members share, grouped by category.

1. Open Skills.
2. Search for a skill, or open a category.
3. Choose a skill to see members who offer it (Offers) and members who want it (Wants).

## Adding your own skills

1. On the Skills page, press Add your own skills. This opens the Skills tab in your settings.
2. Press Add Skill.
3. Choose a skill and your level, such as Beginner or Expert.

## Endorsing someone

An endorsement is a quick way to say a member is good at a skill.

1. Open the member's profile.
2. Next to one of their skills, press the small endorse button. It says "Endorse" followed by the skill when you point at it.

Press it again to remove your endorsement. The number beside a skill shows how many members have endorsed it.
