# Posting and discussing in a group

Share a post with the group, or start a discussion and reply to others.

There are two ways to talk in a group: the **Feed** tab for short posts, and the **Discussion** tab for longer conversations.

## Post to the group feed

1. Open the group and choose Feed.
2. Press What's on your mind? and write your post.
3. Press Create Post.

You can also choose a group under **Post to** when you write a post on the main community feed.

## Start a discussion

1. Open the group and choose Discussion.
2. Press New Discussion.
3. Give it a Title and write the Content.
4. Press Create Discussion.

## Reply to a discussion

1. Open the discussion.
2. Type in Write a reply....
3. Send your reply. You see Reply sent.

Group posts and discussions are only seen by group members.
