# Group Q&A, tasks, channels and challenges

Ask questions, share out work, chat in channels and follow group goals.

These tabs help a group work together. Your community may not use all of them.

## Q&A

1. Open Q&A and press Ask Question.
2. Other members answer with Post Answer.
3. Vote answers up or down so the best ones rise to the top.

Sort by **Newest** , **Most Voted** or **Unanswered** . Group managers can mark the best answer.

## Tasks

**Tasks** is a shared to-do list.

1. Press Add Task.
2. Give it a Title, a Priority (Low, Medium, High or Urgent), a person under Assigned to, and a Due date.
3. Move the task through To Do, In Progress and Done as work goes on.

## Channels

**Channels** are chat rooms. Choose a channel, type in **Type a message...** and press **Send** . Group managers create and remove channels.

## Challenges

**Challenges** are goals for the whole group, such as a number of new discussions by a date. The managers set them. You can see the progress, for example **12 / 20 Posts** . Taking part in the group moves the count forward.
