# What is inside a group?

A quick guide to the tabs you see once you are a member.

Each group has tabs along the top. On a phone they are in a drop-down list. Some tabs sit under **More** .

- Feed is for short posts to the group.
- Discussion is for longer conversations with a title.
- Members lists everyone in the group. Owner and Admin labels show who runs it.
- Events lists the group's events.
- Files holds shared documents.
- Announcements holds important notices from the managers.
- Q&A is for asking questions and voting on answers.
- Wiki holds shared pages of information that members write together.
- Gallery holds photos and videos.
- Channels are chat rooms for the group.
- Tasks is a shared to-do list.
- Challenges shows group goals set by the managers.
- Subgroups appears when a group has smaller groups inside it.

Your community can switch some of these tabs off, so you may not see them all.

Pinned announcements also appear above the tabs with a **Pinned** label.
