# Using the AI writing help on a listing

Get a draft description for your listing, then check it carefully before you save.

If your community allows it, the listing form can write a draft description for you.

1. Type a Title first. The button stays greyed out until you do.
2. If you like, write a few notes in the Description box. The helper uses them.
3. Press AI: Help me write this.
4. Wait while the button shows Generating....

The draft replaces whatever was in the **Description** box.

Read the draft carefully before you save. It is written by a computer. It can make you sound more experienced, more available or more generous than you are, and it can add details you never gave. Change or delete anything that is not true.

A good description says what you will actually do, when you are usually free, and anything the other person should know.

If the helper is not available in your community, you will see a message saying the description could not be generated. You can write the description yourself.
