# Removing or restoring a conversation

Move a conversation out of your inbox, remove it for both of you, or bring it back.

You can clear a conversation out of your inbox.

1. Open the conversation.
2. Press the More options button (three dots) at the top.
3. Choose Delete for me or Delete for everyone.
4. Press Delete to confirm.

**Delete for me** moves the conversation to your **Archived** tab. The other member keeps their copy.

**Delete for everyone** removes the conversation from both your inbox and theirs.

## Restoring a conversation

1. Open Messages and choose the Archived tab.
2. Press Restore next to the conversation.

It moves back to your **Inbox** .

If the other member writes to you again, the new messages appear in your inbox as usual.
