# Choosing which emails you get

Turn email notifications on or off for messages, listings, events, reviews and more.

You decide which emails you get.

1. Open Settings and choose the Notifications tab.
2. Turn each switch on or off.
3. Press Save Preferences.

## What you can choose

The switches you see depend on what your community uses. They include:

- New Messages: when someone sends you a message
- Connection Requests
- Event emails: changes, cancellations and reminders for events
- Listing Activity: responses to your listings
- Credit Transactions: when time credits move in or out of your wallet
- New Reviews
- Monthly Digest: a monthly summary of community activity
- Marketing Emails: newsletters and community updates

If you have an organisation account, you may also see **Organisation Notifications** .

## Emails you cannot turn off

Some emails are needed to keep your account working, so there is no switch for them. For example, emails that confirm your email address or reset your password.
