# Who can see my profile?

Choose whether your profile can be seen by anyone, by community members only, or by your connections only.

You choose who can see your profile in your privacy settings.

1. Open Settings and choose the Privacy tab.
2. Under Profile Visibility, open Who can see your profile.
3. Choose one of the options below.
4. Press Save Privacy Settings.

The options are:

- Public - Anyone can view
- Members Only - Community members: only people who are signed in
- Connections Only - Your connections: only members you are connected with

## Search Engine Indexing

The **Search Engine Indexing** switch controls whether search engines, such as Google, may list your profile. Turning it off also takes you out of the member directory, member search and @mentions inside your community.

## Partner communities

If your community is linked with partner communities, press **Federation Settings** on the same tab. There you can choose what members of those communities can see.

Your community's administrators can still see your account details, so they can support you.
