# How do I leave a review?

Rate a member after you have exchanged hours, or write a review from their profile.

A review is a star rating, with an optional comment, that appears on a member's profile.

## After an exchange

1. Open Reviews.
2. Choose the Pending Reviews tab. It lists people you have exchanged hours with and not yet reviewed.
3. Press Write Review.
4. Choose a Rating from one to five stars.
5. Add a Comment (Optional), up to 2,000 characters.
6. Press Submit Review.

## From a profile

1. Open the member's profile.
2. Press More options (three dots) and choose Write Review.
3. Choose a rating, add a comment if you like, and press Submit Review.

A review linked to an exchange is marked **Transaction Review** . A review written from a profile is a **General Review** .

You can review each exchange once. You can write a general review of the same member once a day.

Be fair and specific. Reviews help other members decide who to work with.
