# How do I sign in?

Sign in with your email address and password, or with a passkey or another account if your community allows it.

1. Open Sign in.
2. If you are asked, choose your Community.
3. Enter your Email and Password. To check what you typed, press the eye button in the password box.
4. Press Sign In.

## Other ways to sign in

- Passkey: if your community offers passkeys and you have set one up, press Sign in with a passkey.
- Google or Facebook: if your community allows it, you see Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook. You can connect or disconnect these accounts in Settings, on the Connected tab. You cannot disconnect your only way of signing in.
- An organisation account: some communities let you sign in with an account from a partner organisation. You see a button with that organisation's name.

## If you use two-step verification

After your password, you are asked for the six-digit code from your authenticator app. Enter it in **Authentication Code** and press **Verify** . You can tick the box to trust the device for a number of days, so you are not asked every time.

## Signing out

Open the menu under your name and press **Log Out** . On a phone, press **Menu** , then **Log Out** . Always sign out when you use a shared or public computer.

After too many wrong attempts, signing in is paused for a short time. Wait, then try again, or reset your password.
