# Donating or gifting hours

Give hours to your community fund or to another member.

You can give hours away without an exchange.

1. Open your wallet and press Donate.
2. Under Donate to, choose Community Fund or Another Member.
3. If you chose Another Member, search for them under Search by member and choose them.
4. Enter the Amount (hours). Your balance is shown under the box.
5. Add a Message (optional) if you like.
6. Press Donate.

You will see **Donation sent!** . Donations cannot be taken back.

## About the Community Fund

The **Community Fund** is a shared pool of hours for your community. The fund card on your wallet shows how many hours it holds. You can also press **Donate** on that card.

Your community's administrators decide how the fund is used. They can give hours from it to members.
