# How do I send hours to someone?

Pay a member for time they gave you, straight from your wallet.

You send hours to pay a member for time they gave you.

1. Open your wallet.
2. Press Send Credits.
3. In Search by name or username..., type the member's name and choose them from the list.
4. Enter the Amount (hours). You can use part-hours, such as 1.5.
5. If you like, choose a Category and add a Description, such as what the help was.
6. Check the summary. It shows who you are paying and your new balance.
7. Press Send Credits.

You will see **Transfer successful** . The hours appear in both wallets.

You can also press **Send Credits** on a member's profile. The form opens with that member already chosen.

You cannot send more hours than you have. Your community may also set a limit for a single transfer.

Check the name and amount carefully before you send. You cannot cancel a transfer yourself. If you make a mistake, contact your coordinator.
